My Review of 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED AF-S DX Zoom

Abes of Maine

The world's first constant f/2.8 3.2x zoom lens developed exclusively for use with Nikon DX Format. 3.2x zoom covers from a wide angle of 79° to a narrow angle of 28° 50' (equivalent to 25.5mm to 85.5mm for 35mm format) and is ideal for architecture, landscape, groups shots and portraits.

A Fantastic Lens!!

Pros: Easy To Use, Improves Picture Quality, Compact Design

Best Uses: Landscapes, Shooting Outdoors, Shooting Indoors, Panoramic Filming

Describe Yourself: Professional photographer

This lens makes the Nikon DX cameras perform to professional standards! It is tach sharp, not too heavy, balances well in your hands, is solid, rugged, and moisture resistant. I've shot a wedding in fairly heavy rain with this lens on my D200 camera and got zero internal lens fogging. It's even fallen over on a tripod onto concrete which broke the lens shade and clear filter, but had no effect on the lens itself! (now I can tell why I use a clear filter!!)

My Review of EN-EL4a Rechargeable Li-ion Battery

Abes of Maine

There's not much to say except, this is the Nikon brand battery, and it works exactly as it should.

Don't trust your expensive camera to an off-brand battery. Li-Ion batteries are nothing to fool around with. A cheap 3rd party Li_Ion battery can actually go into thermal run-away and catch on fire or even explode!
